So one of my new purchases from over the weekend was this fun, stripy skirt from The Limited. It’s bright and fun – perfect for today because it’s Open House time at work (meaning I need to look extra professional, and yes, that means I am rocking pantyhose). Anyways, I was all excited about it; I’m rocking a baby pink tank top and white cardigan. It is good stuff!
Anyways, I’ve been guilty of this whoops-a-daisy more than once. I get so excited to wear my new clothes that I take off the tags, wash it, and then wear it (I worked in retail once, ALWAYS wash your clothes before wearing them). Well that’s just peachy unless it’s a skirt with a slit up the back…I always forget to cut the string to free the slit!
So apparently I was walking around all day with no slit. I was wondering why it felt so darn form-fitting! Thank goodness that Lisa came to my rescue again (she let me know last week that my sweater was buttoned incorrectly and made my boobs look uneven).
Not a big whoops-a-daisy, but a valuable lesson to be learned. Tags are easy to remember, but check your skirts, too!
We went out to trivia night again last night, and due to our charming smiles and my honey badger t-shirt, we won! While it was definitely big fun, we were up past my bedtime. I am one tired glamzilla today. But it’s all good, because we’re half way through the week.
Happy Wednesday!

Ha! That’s pretty funny but I’m the genius who forgets to cut tags off things all the time….. Great skirt though, love the stripes!
